An Italian story of gourmet specialities
Since 1951, Marabotto has been selecting and offering Italian gourmet specialities with an approach that brings together product culture, artisan care and an international vision.
Born in the heart of Piedmont, Marabotto grew around a deep knowledge of Italian ingredients, flavours and culinary traditions, building over time an assortment that combines authenticity, quality and innovation.
Today, after more than seventy years of history, the company remains a reference point in shelf-stable Italian gourmet specialities, working with distributors, retailers and food professionals in Italy and abroad.

Over seventy years of Italian gastronomy
The beginning
Driven by a passion for mushrooms and truffles passed down from his father Antonio, Giacomo Marabotto founds ICCA in Cuneo — one of the first local businesses dedicated to food preserves.
A pioneering vision
In Borgo San Dalmazzo, “Specialmarket Marabotto” opens — one of the first Italian supermarkets specialised in gastronomy and food specialities, with a curated assortment and a strong focus on quality.
Evolution
The company moves back to Cuneo and becomes Marabotto e De Filippi. The range expands with spices, herbs and saffron, processed and packed with still deeply artisan methods.
In these years the company also develops mail-order sales for the foodservice channel, starting its journey towards international markets.
The second generation
The children — Iolanda, Marco and Francesco — join the company, giving life to today's Marabotto Giacomo e Figli.
The assortment further expands with new gourmet specialities and a strong focus on coloured and flavoured artisan pasta, still today one of the best-selling lines.
Tradition that evolves
Marabotto continues to grow while keeping a firm bond with its territory and Italian gastronomic culture.
In 2026 the company opens a new chapter in its development, pairing family continuity with a vision oriented to innovation, international expansion and an evolving offer — without ever compromising the values that have guided its growth since the beginning.
